Processwork Learning Lab

Saturday 22 April 2017, 2.30-4.30pm

Carmelite Community Centre, Aungier Street, Dublin 2

‘I would love to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.’

John O’Donohue

In this month’s Learning Lab we return to exploring Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms (www.5rhythms.com) in the light of Mindell’s Process-oriented thinking and practice. Roth describes the 5 rhythms in terms of a wave, whereas Mindell asks us to follow the Tao or Nature as a river. ‘His 1985 book River’s Way: The process science of the dreambody, laid out the principles and concepts of process oriented psychology’ (www.aamindell.net). Concepts relevant to the 5 Rhythms experience will be introduced with a view to applying them to our experience of the 5 Rhythms, a movement and innerwork practice such as may also be found in Processwork. Where do these two practices overlap? Or do they? Each of us will have our own individual experience and response; our experience may be enriched by sharing with others and time will be allocated for that.

There is no need to have attended last month’s Learning Lab in order to participate in this one, though those who attended last month are particularly invited to do so. Facilitation of the Five Rhythms input will be by Anne Hederman and of the Processwork input by Mary O’Neill. Donations of €5 towards the cost of the room will be gratefully accepted. Please contact Grace Walsh at info@processworkireland.org  to book your place.
